About the project
The First Tower is the opening building of Ambassadori Island Batumi, an 84-hectare development of two reclaimed peninsulas and an island at the northern entrance to Batumi, between the sea port and the central railway station. It rises 216 metres over 58 floors, about fifty metres from the sea.
Arup drew the island's master plan, and almost half of the territory, 49%, is set aside for parks and recreation, including a nine-hectare central forest park with a 3.2-kilometre walking path. Around the tower the plan adds a marina and yacht club, a shopping centre, an aquapark, a gym and spa, offices and co-working, schools and kindergartens, and beaches. The island project has passed its environmental impact assessment and holds an approved master plan, a construction permit and full legal ownership of the land.
Apartments are handed over finished: levelled and painted walls, porcelain-tiled bathrooms, laminate floors, a fitted kitchen with hob, microwave, hood and fridge, a dishwasher in the one- and two-bedroom layouts, a washing machine, and central heating and cooling with climate control. Interiors are by the Italian studio D73, whose furniture can be added as an option. Ceilings are 3.2 metres. Eight duplexes on floors 57 and 58 open onto a rooftop pool.
In the building itself there is an outdoor pool, a fitness centre, a roof terrace, a restaurant and café, a supermarket and a pharmacy, served by nine lifts and three levels of underground parking. Anagi is building the tower with tunnel formwork, which lets the frame rise by up to seven floors a month; work began in September 2025.
