About the project
Camden Goods Yard is an 8-acre Berkeley Group development on Chalk Farm Road in Camden, built by St George City on the old railway goods yard where canal and rail freight met in the 19th century. Primrose Hill and Regent's Park are a short walk away. The first phase has 218 apartments in two buildings designed by Piercy and Company, The Gallery and The Regent, set among a new Morrisons supermarket, shops and cafés in the historic arches, and a public rooftop restaurant. About 40% of the site is being landscaped, with more than 240 new trees.
The apartments
The homes on sale are one-bedroom apartments, including open-plan Manhattan layouts, from 478 sq ft (44 m²), two-bedroom apartments from 909 sq ft (84 m²) and three-bedroom apartments from 1,091 sq ft (101 m²). Every one has a private balcony or terrace. The Gallery's 108 homes are arranged around a central courtyard, with floor-to-ceiling windows, 2.6 m ceilings, oak herringbone floors in the hall and living room, underfloor heating, comfort cooling and Miele kitchens with a wine cooler. Buyers choose from four kitchen and three bathroom palettes. The Gallery is due to complete from Q4 2026. All apartments are sold on a 999-year lease from 2023 with a peppercorn ground rent.
The Regency Club
Residents share The Regency Club, reached through a glass-fronted foyer and lounge designed by Tara Bernerd. It has a 19-metre indoor pool, a sauna and steam room, a gym on the first floor of The Regent, three screening rooms with their own bars, a co-working space with bookable meeting rooms, and a 24-hour concierge that takes in parcels and books transport. On the roof of The Gallery there is a second residents' lounge, a private dining room and The Barn, a yoga studio, beside the restaurant terrace.
Getting around and paying
Chalk Farm station on the Northern line is about a six-minute walk, and Kentish Town West and Camden Town stations are under ten minutes on foot, according to the developer. The site has more than 850 cycle parking spaces, two cycle hire docks and a car club, and the Regent's Canal towpath is close by. Contracts are exchanged 28 days after reservation. Buyers pay 10% on exchange, 5% six months later and the remaining 85% on completion.
