Avalon builds one kind of property, serviced apartments with management and facilities built in, and has done so in Bali since 2022. Its co-founder and chief executive is Migran Kagramanyan. The team comes from residential and infrastructure building in Ukraine, and the Bali work has grown step by step: a small first building that is now finished, then two complexes of more than a hundred apartments each.

Its later projects are much larger, 123 apartments at Buddha Club House and 129 at TAO Club House, and both are managed by Ribas Hotels Group, which runs the buildings once they open.

OM Club House

Avalon's first Bali building, in Berawa: five floors and eighteen apartments behind curved balcony bands and vertical timber slats. The one-bedroom apartments on the upper floors each have a terrace with a jacuzzi; the two-bedroom homes on the ground floor open onto a patio with their own pool. The roof is the shared space, with an infinity pool, a bar, a barbecue and fire place, a meditation zone and a fourteen-seat cinema corner, and the underground level holds a coworking room, a games room and bike parking. Finished.

Buddha Club House

One hundred and twenty-three apartments in Berawa, 700 metres from the beach. The roof carries an infinity pool, a sky bar and a meditation pyramid, and the building adds an open-air cinema, a cinema hall, a coworking space and underground parking. Ribas Hotels Group will manage the complex. The land is held on a 30-year lease with a 30-year extension.

TAO Club House

One hundred and twenty-nine serviced apartments in Pererenan, the quieter neighbour of Canggu, five minutes from the ocean, with 2,000 square metres of shared facilities. The design follows Taoist ideas of yin and yang: stone, wood and bamboo, ponds and fountains, vertical gardens and meditation corners. The ground floor holds a lobby, a bar, a 76-seat restaurant, a pool, a gym, a hammam and a temple, and there are an ice pool, a waterfall sauna, a kids club and a coworking floor. Ribas Hotels Group will manage it. The land is held on a 25-year lease with a 25-year extension.

Signature style

Each Avalon building takes its name and its look from an Eastern idea: OM, Buddha, TAO. The idea shows in the shared spaces more than in the apartments: a meditation zone on the OM roof, a meditation pyramid on Buddha's, ponds, a temple and vertical gardens at TAO. The roof is always the social floor, with a pool, a bar and somewhere to watch a film.
