PT High Flying Birds

PT High Flying Birds is the Indonesian company behind Happiness Event Villa, an eleven-bedroom villa in the HAPPINESS gated community, a few minutes from the centre of Ubud. The project is the work of the architect and investor Alexander Ilyin, who founded the HAPPINESS club community and takes part in the concept, the architecture and the build himself. The villa management company Bali Legends is helping to plan the layout, so the way the house will be run is part of the design from the start.

Happiness Event Villa
A single villa over three levels in the HAPPINESS gated community, with a 270-degree view over jungle and rice fields. The ground floor is for gatherings: a great hall, a banquet hall seating up to 50 under six-metre ceilings with its own kitchen and catering room, a cinema and a summer terrace, and outside a 17-metre pool with its own waterfall and an amphitheatre in the garden. The two floors above hold ten en-suite bedrooms, a master suite and a living room with a billiards table, and a two-storey guest house stands on the grounds. It is meant for weddings, retreats and meetings, and equally as a home for a large family.
