All articles→EVDEkimi is an Ubud real estate company founded and led by Kamran Alakbarov. It works in one place, the villages around Ubud, and in one way: it takes plots that have already been built on, rebuilds them as villas and small apartment buildings, and then runs them with its own team. Its villas and apartments around Ubud already take guests, and its newest project, Sekar, is a family complex in Sayan looking over the rice fields.
EVDEkimi's view is that a new home does not need untouched land. It buys sites that already carry buildings, rebuilds or restores them, and designs each project from the start to be operated rather than simply sold. The team is a mix of Indonesian and international staff based in Ubud, covering design, construction, sales, legal work, finance and operations, so the same company that builds a villa also runs its reception, housekeeping and maintenance afterwards.
EVDEkimi's finished work is in rental use around Ubud. Sacred Jungle in Sayan, a complex of nine apartments and three private villas, Sarang Apartments in Tegallalang, Villa Berapi in Penestanan and a run of two-bedroom villas such as Villa Tembaga and Villa Rumah all take guests under the EVDEkimi name.
Privately held. EVDEkimi publishes no financial figures.
Built for the tropics and for daily use. At Sekar the homes are designed for long-term durability, with advanced waterproofing, and the complex is fitted out as a working property from the start: furnished units, a reception, a laundry and a staff of more than forty.

A real estate company based in Ubud, founded and run by Kamran Alakbarov. It redevelops plots that already carry buildings into villas and small apartment buildings, then operates them with its own team of Indonesian and international staff.
Only around Ubud, in villages such as Sayan, Penestanan, Kedewatan, Tegallalang, Peliatan, Petulu and Keliki. Its finished properties include Sacred Jungle in Sayan, Sarang Apartments in Tegallalang and Villa Berapi in Penestanan.
EVDEkimi's family complex in Sayan, west of Ubud: villas with two to four bedrooms and private pools along the rice field, townhouses, garden and mezzanine suites, and apartments. It has a club with a pool and bar, a 60-seat restaurant, a gym, a spa and a children's playground.
EVDEkimi itself. Homes are handed over furnished, and the company keeps managing them on the owner's behalf, with its own reception, housekeeping, maintenance and guest relations.
No. Freehold land in Indonesia is reserved for Indonesian citizens. Sekar is offered on a 30-year lease with an extension set out in the developer's terms, and the purchase agreement and the management contract are both signed before a certified notary.
