About the project
Sekar is a complex of 27 homes that EVDEkimi is building in Sayan, on the western side of Ubud in Bali's Gianyar regency. Villas, townhouses, suites and apartments share one site at the edge of a rice field, with a restaurant, a spa and two pools between them. Handover is planned for Q4 2026, and every home is delivered fully furnished. Buyers take a 30-year leasehold, and the developer's terms add an extension to it.
The homes on sale
The smallest homes are the one-bedroom Garden Suites of 40 m2, each with its own garden, and the one-bedroom Mezzanine Suites of 58 m2, where the bedroom sits on a mezzanine above the living room and a small inner garden. The two-bedroom Townhouse Suites have 85 m2 over two floors, with a terrace on each. In the apartment buildings, two-bedroom apartments measure 87 to 94 m2 and three-bedroom apartments start at 97 m2, among them a 127 m2 duplex. The villas run in a row along the rice field, each with two floors and a private pool with a deck: two-bedroom villas of 89 m2, three-bedroom villas of 114 to 215 m2 and a single four-bedroom villa of 179 m2 with a garden and a gazebo. EVDEkimi says every villa looks over the rice field towards the sunset.
Shared facilities
The central club area has a 105 m2 main pool, a bar and a lounge, and a 60-seat restaurant sits beside the reception. On the spa level there are dry and wet saunas, two massage rooms, a gym and a quieter 32 m2 pool. A 45-metre recreation and park zone, a children's playground, a laundry and on-site parking complete the plan. After handover the developer's own team of more than 40 staff runs the complex, covering housekeeping, guest relations, security and maintenance. The structure carries a five-year warranty, with one year on fittings and installations.
Location and payment plan
Sayan looks out over rice fields, rivers and green valleys. EVDEkimi notes that Ubud has stayed less densely built than the coast because land is limited and its cultural heritage is protected. Ubud Palace is about 15 minutes away, and the roads from here reach both the north and the south of the island. The construction-linked plan asks for 40% on signing the purchase agreement, 30% at structural completion and 20% once the finishing works are done, with the last 10% due when the keys are handed over.
