About the project
Hey, YOLO is a complex of one-bedroom pool villas in the quiet centre of Ubud, built by SPG, the Bali developer behind Bubble Hotel Bali and Private Jet Villa. The villas follow Japanese minimalism, in natural wood, stone and architectural concrete, among tropical gardens that a stream divides into separate zones. The Sacred Monkey Forest, the Ubud Palace, restaurants and yoga studios are close by, while inside the complex it stays quiet and green.
The villas
Each villa has one bedroom and 40.2 or 41.2 m2 of indoor space, depending on the layout, and 56 m2 in total with its terrace, private pool and balcony. Large windows open the rooms onto the garden, and the finishes combine wooden panels, natural stone, architectural concrete, decorative plaster, textiles and tile. Every villa is handed over fully furnished.
The complex
Residents and guests have a reception with staff on hand day and night, a fusion restaurant in Japanese style, a thermal spa built in wood and stone, a wellness bar, sports areas and a bird park on the grounds, and a concierge service arranges bookings and trips. The building permit (PBG) was issued in July 2026 to PT Island Asset Management, the company that will manage the complex.
Construction and payment
Work is going on in two phases: columns and walls stand on many villas and the first roofs are being laid. Completion is planned for the second quarter of 2027. A booking deposit reserves a villa for up to ten business days, the down payment is 35%, and the remaining 65% is paid in interest-free quarterly or monthly instalments until handover.

Ubud is a town in the hills of Gianyar Regency, inland from the beaches of the south. Ubud District, about 42 km² around it, had 74,800 residents at the 2020 census, and more than three million foreign visitors come each year. The centre is the palace, Puri Saren Agung, still owned by the royal family, with the art market across the road and the Monkey Forest at the bottom of Jalan Monkey Forest.
