Marafid is a completed tower of 223 apartments on Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi, presented by Foster Developers and ready to move in. The homes are arranged around shared public spaces with views towards the water, and the building has frontage on the canal and five retail units of its own. Buyers pay 20% as a down payment and settle the remaining 80% through the bank. Foster Developers, founded in 2008 and active in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah, works by acquiring buildings that already stand and refining them.
The apartments
Marafid has one, two and three-bedroom apartments. On the current list, one-bedroom homes start at 1,085 sq ft, two-bedroom homes at 1,436 sq ft, and the three-bedroom apartments, which add a maid's room, at 2,338 sq ft. Most layouts open onto a balcony, and the three-bedroom balconies run to more than 340 sq ft. One of the one-bedroom plans shows how much room even the smallest type gets: a living area with a separate dining space, a bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe, a bathroom with a tub and a separate shower, and a powder room for guests. Views change with the side of the tower. Some apartments face the canal, many look over the community and the city skyline, and a handful of one-bedroom units take in the sea.
Amenities
Foster Developers describes the amenity suite as hospitality first. Residents have a pool deck and lounge, a gym, steam and sauna rooms, an outdoor cinema, an entertainment zone, a kids' play area and a coffee corner.

Al Reem Island is a waterside district of canals, landscaped promenades and small green spaces. From Marafid, Reem Mall is 3 minutes away, Al Fay Park 4 and Reem Island Medical Centre 5. Sorbonne University is 6 minutes off, Galleria Mall on Al Maryah 8, and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Repton School Abu Dhabi 10.
