Samana Collecta Island in World Islands, Dubai

Samana Collecta Island is a private island in The World Islands, the archipelago off the Dubai coast, and the first project of Samana Collecta, the premium brand Samana Developers launched in 2026. It lies near Heart of Europe and Lebanon Island, facing the Dubai skyline across the water. Terraced apartment buildings, seven villas set on the water and two tree mansions share the island with beaches, gardens, a lagoon and a private marina. The homes carry the name of an Italian luxury house with a hundred years of history.

Apartments and villas

Each apartment building holds 116 homes: 43 suites, 54 one-bedroom apartments, 12 two-bedroom apartments, six three-bedroom apartments and one four-bedroom residence. Suites start at 468 sq ft, one-bedroom apartments at 722 sq ft, two-bedroom apartments at 1,405 sq ft and three-bedroom apartments at 2,315 sq ft. The buildings are terraced and every layout opens onto a wide terrace; some three-bedroom layouts and the four-bedroom residences have a pool on it. Every home has its own sauna, cold plunge and jacuzzi.

The seven Maldives-style villas stand on the water at the edge of the island. Each covers about 3,200 sq ft on two floors, with the living and dining room, the kitchen and an infinity pool deck below and two bedrooms upstairs. The two Lighthouse Tree Mansions sit among the island's greenery and are its largest homes, at about 12,000 sq ft each.

Life on the island

Samana Collecta lists 84 amenities. By the water there is a lagoon pool, an infinity pool, a cascade pool and a kids' pool, a beach club with its own pool and bar, cabanas, a floating restaurant and a private marina. Further in come gardens and shaded promenades, a yoga garden, a running trail, an open-air gym, a calisthenics park, a Pilates studio, an amphitheatre and a children's play garden.

The residents' club has separate fitness studios for men and women, a sauna, a steam room, a vitality pool and a beauty atelier, along with a co-working lounge, a podcast and content studio, a holographic meeting room, a boardroom and a private events room. Day-to-day needs stay on the island as well: a market, a pharmacy, a clinic, a pet clinic, a banking point, a parcel room with laundry valet, and prayer rooms.

Getting there

The trip home starts at a welcome centre on the mainland, where residents board a yacht for the island. Samana Collecta plans a yacht shuttle every 15 minutes at peak hours and every 30 minutes the rest of the day. By yacht, Umm Suqeim is 15 minutes away, Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Bay 20 minutes, Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Maritime City 22 minutes and Bluewaters Island 30 minutes. Golf carts take residents around the island, and valet parking and a concierge service are included.

Buying

The project is at the pre-launch stage, with expressions of interest (EOI) open, and the homes are freehold. The payment plan is 50/50: a 10% down payment, then 5% at 2, 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36 and 42 months after booking, and the remaining 50% after handover, paid as 2% a month for 25 months.
