High Quality Construction Black Rock in Ungasan, Bali

Black Rock is a completed villa project by High Quality Construction in Ungasan, in the centre of the Bukit Peninsula in the south of Bali. The developer took the name literally: the villas are shaped like a piece of rock, and the image of dark stone runs on through the interiors. The home on sale is a two-bedroom villa of 151 m2 over two floors, handed over turnkey with its furniture and appliances. It is sold on a leasehold that the developer sets out as 32 + 25 years, with priority on extension.

The villa

The architecture is a barnhouse, with tall windows and doors that bring plenty of light inside, and the living area rises to a double-height ceiling. On the ground floor an entrance hall leads to the dining area, the kitchen and a living room of about 21 m2, with a guest toilet close by. Both bedrooms are on this floor, about 15 m2 each, and each has its own shower room. An open staircase climbs to the upper level, set up as a separate office for calls and project work, with a door out to the roof. The developer describes the interior style as strict and masculine: panoramic glazing, decorative stairs, designer furniture and chandeliers.

Pool and rooftop

The villa has its own swimming pool of about 15 m2, screened by greenery and out of sight of the neighbours. Up on the roof, about 75 m2 is given over to a lounge, a fire pit and a grill area. A multi-stage water purification system lets the pool run without chlorine, and the load-bearing structures are waterproofed. Parking for cars and bikes is part of the project.

High Quality Construction, also known as HQC, is a Bali developer that builds to European quality standards and delivers its homes turnkey. It placed Black Rock in a quiet part of Ungasan, 2 minutes from the main road and 13 minutes from Melasti Beach by the developer's own count. As the villa is already built, it is paid for in full, 100% on booking.
