About the project
Design Quarter is the Meraas residential project at d3, Dubai Design District, and the developer presents it as the first homes built inside the district. It is made up of three towers. The homes now on sale are all in Tower B and all have three bedrooms: apartments on levels 25 to 40 and a duplex on level 42. Handover is planned for Q2 2027.
The three-bedroom homes
Each apartment measures 2,019 sq ft including its balcony. The living room, dining area and a kitchen of 6.5 by 2.9 metres are laid out together, with a powder room by the entrance. The largest of the three bedrooms has a walk-in wardrobe, and the plan adds a maid's room, a utility room and two balconies. The duplex on level 42 covers 3,305 sq ft, around 774 sq ft of it terrace. Downstairs, a living and dining room of 13.9 by 6.1 metres opens onto two terraces, beside the kitchen and a maid's room. Upstairs are the three bedrooms with two bathrooms, a walk-in wardrobe and two balconies. Meraas describes the interiors as light, bright and modern, with views towards Burj Khalifa, Downtown Dubai and Dubai Water Canal.
Amenities and the district
Residents have exclusive use of a pool, a gym, a children's playland and a choice of dining venues. Around the towers, d3 has green space with the Golden Gardens, tennis courts, sports fields and jogging paths. Meraas pitches the district as a creative community for working and living, with cafés and art galleries close by. By the developer's own figures, Downtown Dubai is 10 minutes away, and Business Bay, DIFC, City Walk and DXB Airport are about 15 minutes each.
Payment plan
Meraas offers a 40/60 plan. Buyers pay 10% on booking and 30% during construction, and the remaining 60% is due on handover, planned for Q2 2027.
