Sobha The S Tower at Dubai Media City

Sobha The S Tower is a completed residential tower by Sobha Realty on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai Media City. It is the first signature residential project of Sobha’s founder, PNC Menon, and its homes look out on every side, with the sea to the north and the golf course to the south.

The residence on sale is a five bedroom apartment of 13,243 sq ft on the 59th floor. Construction is finished, so it is ready to move into.

A five bedroom sky villa

Sobha calls the homes in this tower sky villas. The entrance door is solid oak, 2.6 metres high and 54 mm thick. Fresh air units with UV filtration serve the rooms. Ceilings reach 3 metres in the master bedroom, whose dressing area has chevron cut oak flooring. The display kitchen, with high end appliances, and the separate preparation kitchen both have electrochromic smart glass. Bathrooms have brushed nickel fittings, smart WCs and a large mirror TV facing the bath and shower.

Lobby, café and amenities

A double height lobby with a concierge desk opens onto The S Café. The lifts are contactless, and lights and curtains answer to a smartphone. Indoors, residents have a gym, a steam room and sauna, a library and lounge, and a children’s day care centre. Outside, a temperature controlled infinity edge pool has a sunken court between the main pool and the children’s pool, with a jacuzzi, an outdoor cinema, an outdoor gym, a children’s play area and a meditation corner.

Location and developer

Sobha describes Sheikh Zayed Road as the power corridor of Dubai. Its area map shows Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab, Dubai Marina, JBR Beach, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai Internet City and the Emirates Golf Club.

PNC Menon started out as an interior decorator of royal homes and went on to build palaces and mosques. His group has delivered more than 100 million sq ft of homes and commercial space in the UAE and India, and Sobha makes its own building materials and finishes in its own factories.
