DarGlobal

DarGlobal PLC is an international luxury real-estate developer listed on the London Stock Exchange, and it is the international arm of Saudi Arabia's Dar Al Arkan Group. It trades on the LSE Main Market under the ticker DAR and builds with partners including the Trump Organization, Aston Martin, Automobili Lamborghini, ELIE SAAB, Marriott, Missoni, Pagani and Versace. Jeddah is where its Saudi work is concentrated: Trump Plaza Jeddah and Trump Tower Jeddah are both under development in the city, and Palmera represents two further schemes, Padel Living Residences and Amaya.

THE TRACK RECORD

DarGlobal's record.

DarGlobal builds branded luxury: homes co-created with fashion, automotive and hospitality names rather than developed under its own label alone. In Jeddah that shows up as the two Trump-branded towers on King Abdulaziz Road, and in the design of Padel Living, where the amenity that names the building sits on the roof.

Delivery record

As a company on the LSE Main Market, DarGlobal reports to a public disclosure regime, which gives a buyer more visibility on the developer's finances than an unlisted counterpart normally offers. Both Saudi schemes sell through an escrow account at Alinma Bank, so instalments are released against progress rather than paid directly to the developer.

Years active

Since 2017; listed on the London Stock Exchange in February 2023.

Financial strength

DarGlobal has reported a development pipeline in the order of USD 19 billion across its markets.

Signature style

DarGlobal's Saudi range is unusually wide for one developer: a finished apartment in Padel Living and a bare serviced plot in Amaya are different products bought by different people. The first is a home or a rental asset; the second is a development site, and the buyer supplies the building.

Payment plans

Both Jeddah schemes sell off-plan on construction-linked instalments through an escrow account at Alinma Bank. Padel Living runs five equal payments of 20%, with the last due twelve months after completion. Amaya runs seven stages tied to site works, and the transaction tax is included in the final payment at title transfer.

THE HONEST VIEW

Strengths & considerations.

Where DarGlobal shines
  • A listed counterparty — DarGlobal reports publicly on the LSE Main Market, which is more disclosure than most regional developers offer.
  • Escrow on both schemes — instalments sit with Alinma Bank and release against progress rather than on trust.
  • Post-handover money — a fifth of the Padel Living price falls a year after completion, so part of the cost can be met from a delivered asset.
  • Both nationalities and structures are open — the developer sells Padel Living to individuals of any nationality, and Amaya plots to buyers of any nationality.
Worth considering
  • No published price list. Neither scheme has a public price, so a comparison against other Jeddah stock has to be done deal by deal.
  • A plot is not a finished asset. Amaya buyers carry the design, permitting, construction and cost risk of the building themselves.
  • Delivery is far out. Padel Living completes in December 2030, which is a long exposure to construction and to the market at the other end.
  • Ownership must be registered. A foreign buyer's title in Saudi Arabia takes effect on registration in the Real Estate Registry, not on signing the contract.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions about DarGlobal.

Who is DarGlobal?+

DarGlobal PLC is an international luxury real-estate developer listed on the London Stock Exchange under the ticker DAR. It is the international arm of Saudi Arabia's Dar Al Arkan Group and works with partners including the Trump Organization, Aston Martin, ELIE SAAB and Missoni.

Which DarGlobal projects does Palmera sell in Saudi Arabia?+

Two, both in Jeddah: Padel Living Residences, an apartment building on King Abdulaziz Road, and Amaya, a masterplan of roughly 1,000,000 m² selling serviced residential and commercial plots.

Can a foreigner buy a DarGlobal property in Jeddah?+

The developer offers Padel Living to buyers of all nationalities, individuals rather than companies, and Amaya plots to buyers of all nationalities. Saudi Arabia's ownership law for non-Saudis has been in force since 22 January 2026 and permits foreign ownership inside approved zones, of which Jeddah has 57. Your title takes effect when it is registered, not when you sign.

Where does the money go before handover?+

Into an escrow account at Alinma Bank held for the project, on both schemes. Instalments are released against verified progress rather than paid straight to the developer.

What does Palmera charge?+

Nothing to the buyer. The developer pays the commission.
