About the project
Palladium Amazonia is an apartment building by Palladium Development in Al Jaddaf, Dubai. The developer pitches it as a family community, and the architecture leans on natural materials: a brick-red facade with wooden accents, glass railings, a lot of white and planting worked into the building itself. Inside are studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments.
Palladium Amazonia is sold off-plan on a 60/40 payment plan. Buyers pay 10% on booking and 50% during construction, and the remaining 40% falls due on handover.
The apartments
Studios start at 367 sq ft, one-bedroom apartments at 585 sq ft, two-bedroom apartments at 751 sq ft and three-bedroom apartments at 1,810 sq ft. In the developer’s floor plans the living and dining room runs straight into the kitchen, and the apartments open onto balconies. The one-bedroom layouts have a guest WC as well as the main bathroom, several with a dressing area off the bedroom, and some two-bedroom layouts include a maid’s room.
The brochure shows bedrooms finished in soft tones, with wood-look floors and large windows that bring in plenty of daylight. Living rooms are planned as one open space where a family can spread out or have guests over.
Amenities
Most of the shared spaces are on the podium level. There is a resort-style pool deck with sun loungers and cabanas, a shallow pool and a separate pool for children, a gym, an entertainment room, an outdoor dining area and an open-air cinema. Children also have a playground and an activity wall around a central courtyard.
The building has a roof garden and an outdoor barbecue area as well. At street level, residents come in through an entrance of glass and greenery to a main lobby built around a large terrarium, served by three lifts. Cars are handled by an automated parking system.
Location in Al Jaddaf
Al Jaddaf lies on the bank of Dubai Creek, between the older parts of the city and Downtown Dubai and Business Bay. Al Khail Road and Sheikh Zayed Road link it to the rest of Dubai, residents can use the Dubai Metro and the creek ferry, and Dubai International Airport is close by. The Jameel Arts Centre and the landscaped walkways along the creek are in the same district.
