River Cove Residences is the waterfront neighbourhood of Sobha City, Sobha Realty’s first master-planned community in Abu Dhabi. Sobha City lies in Al Bahyah and is divided into three neighbourhoods: The Orchard, The Terraces and River Cove Residences. This one is made up of residential buildings on the promenade, overlooking the canal, the gardens and the shared amenities.
The homes on sale now are three and four bedroom apartments, sold off-plan. The payment plan is 60/40: 20% on booking, 40% during construction and the remaining 40% on handover.
The apartments
Sobha shaped the towers to bring daylight deep into every home. The glazing is generous, and balconies take the living space out towards the water and the sky. Depending on the side of the tower, the view is of the canal, the green landscape or the amenity areas.
Three bedroom apartments start at 1,813 sq ft. Four bedroom apartments start at 3,428 sq ft, close to twice the floor area of the smallest three bedroom home.
Life in Sobha City
Water and landscape set the plan of Sobha City. Canals, open spaces and green corridors run through it, and promenades follow the curve of the shoreline with tree-lined walkways and shaded seating. For families there is a swimming pool, children’s play areas, family parks, community lounges and forest trails.
For sport there is a jogging and forest cycling loop, an open-air gym, multi-sport courts, golf areas, an indoor games zone and a climbing and adventure park, while meditation zones and tai chi lawns suit quieter days. The shared spaces also include an amphitheatre, multi-purpose lawns, a pavilion with social decks, sculptural gardens, outdoor dining areas and a mosque.
Location
Sobha City sits in Al Bahyah, in the north of Abu Dhabi, on the highway that links the capital with Dubai. Inside the community, shops, courtyards and meeting places line the everyday walking routes, and the ground level of River Cove Residences opens onto the promenade with its own lifestyle amenities. Parking, arrival courts and concierge services are built into the masterplan.
