About the project
Shekvetili sits on the Black Sea about halfway between Batumi and Poti, where a magnetic-sand beach runs straight into a pine forest. VR Holding is building a resort across forty hectares of it, with twelve hundred metres of private beach, and the buildings are set back among the pines rather than along the sand.
Five blocks hold the apartments, from studios to two bedrooms. Block A is handed over turnkey, furnished and fitted down to the appliances; the B and C blocks are handed over in Green Frame. Block A and Block B1 are handed over in August 2027, and Block B2 in December, when the first phase completes.
The resort carries a Paragraph Resort & Spa, part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, and a Café del Mar beach club with an eighty-metre pool facing the sea. Around them are indoor and outdoor pools, a children’s pool, a spa and wellness centre, sports fields and a gym, a twelve-hundred-metre cycling and walking path through the forest, an amphitheatre, a conference hall, a water park, a casino, a shopping mall, and a thousand square metres given to restaurants.
Owners can put an apartment into the resort’s own rental programme, which is run by Paragraph. The development won Mixed Use Development at the European Property Awards for 2024 and 2025.
